Owl-label

Pinot Grigio. Popular Italian name – traditional German grape variety. This confusion has made our little owl grumpy, but the refreshing, distinctive wine in this bottle is guaranteed to make you very happy. Owls aren’t allowed to sip Pinot Grigio in cafes, so please excuse our little friend for being a bit grumpy as he stands guard over his beloved vines. You, on the other hand, are fortunate enough to be able to enjoy this classic wine in a variety of settings and with a wide range of cuisines. So why not make a toast to all those vineyard owls that love Pinot Grigio as much as we do.

This is our most single focussed food friendly wine. We have attempted to provide a food wine that is less ornamental and less floral than the other wines in the Vineyard Creature series. This wine is also weightier and more structural than the other wines in the series, and is an interesting reference wine when conducting a tasting of various Creatures.

Pinot Grigio is a perfect “Food Wine”. We suggest pairing this wine with fish, poultry or pasta – served slightly chilled, but not too cold to allow the flavours to speak for themselves.
